Cara Delevingne and Margot Robbie are starring together in next month’s summer blockbuster Suicide Squad, a wacky caper in which a goth lit major and an Insane Clown Posse devotee get together to fix Jared Leto’s hair crisis. Love magazine—the British fashion rag you love to buy at the newsstand for $17—got them both on their cover for the occasion, and they gussied them up like the queen bees in a post-“Borderline” Madonnabe girl gang.
The covers are for Love’s “Mean Girls” issue, and feature Delevingne playing the role of interviewer, with Robbie as subject. Love’s website, which is actually giving me motion sickness thanks to the very cute unicorn and rainbow confetti raining down upon it, also posted a little retrospective of Delevingne’s times appearing in the magazine, back before she mostly gave up modeling to pursue her acting career. The shots are great—Love is run by Katie Grand, formerly of The Face and Pop and one of the most innovative fashion editors and stylists in the game, so yeah, maybe the import tag is worth it.
