Ryan Murphy made lovers of camp everywhere scream in their most glass-shattering falsetto when he announced Susan Sarandon and Jessica Lange would be starring as Bette Davis and Joan Crawford in the upcoming anthology series Feud. Three months later, he’s announced a new addition to the cast: Catherine Zeta-Jones.
The Oscar-winning star of Entrapment will play Olivia De Havilland, a close friend of Davis’s and minor nemesis of Crawford’s. (The two were often in contention for the same roles.)
I can’t imagine this will be a large part—I can’t even guarantee lasers—but you’d better believe I will pop buckets and buckets of popcorn for every single episode.
