Comment Of The Day: Congratulations! You've Won Tickets To Trolling Alley
LatestToday we learned more about the nature of lady-hating internet trolls. But what’s to be done with these unfortunate creatures? Resplendent.bitch has an idea:
*right clicks and saves troll map to start scouting potential locations for brand new amusement park venture ‘Trolling Alley,’ exclusively for internet trolls. Attractions will include trollercoasters, trollerskating, whack-a-troll, and a food court section named ‘Troll Foods,’ and of course, a comment wall dedicated exclusively to That Thing You Hate. This will be a no-fail, money-making venture as the target demographic has demonstrated an infinite amount of leisure time and a perverse attachment to things they claim to despise, which minimizes the need for quality control and customer satisfaction.
As you’ve probably noticed, we’re changing the Comment of the Day format a bit. From now on we’ll only be highlighting one comment per day, so that user can claim all the bragging rights. We’d still like you to submit nominations to the Comment of the Day tag page. Just send the outstanding comment’s URL and tag your nomination #cotd. (Replying to a comment with “#cotd” does not work.)
Use #trollpatrol to report comments that you feel the editors/mods should be aware of. Try not to respond to/approve/promote trollish comments in the threads — instead, just post the comment on the #trollpatrol page, the same way you’d post a comment on #groupthink or on the #cotd page, and the editors/mods will take care of it.
For meetups, use the meetup tag page!
