Nancy Mace, the South Carolina congresswoman and the so-called “Trump in high heels,” is leaving her political career behind after suffering a humiliating loss in South Carolina’s gubernatorial primary on Tuesday, relinquishing her House seat in the process. Mace placed fifth overall in the Republican primary with just 12.1% of the vote. And as we kindly suggested to Nancy on Wednesday, please shut the door on your way out.
Before her scandal-ridden year in 2025 being a racist Karen and general problem to everyone, Mace introduced a resolution to ban Congress members and their staffers from “using single-sex facilities other than those corresponding to their biological sex.”—an obvious attack on Rep. Sarah McBride (D-DE)—and spent her time misgendering McBride and maintaining that the congresswoman “does not belong in women’s spaces, women’s bathrooms, locker rooms, changing rooms, period, full stop.”
To give a proper postmortem to Nancy Mace’s short time in Congress, this week’s Comment of the Week will be awarded to kal61678 who commented on “Shut the Door on Your Way Out, Nancy Mace.”
“Turns out normal people aren’t as obsessed with trans issues as Nancy Mace is. Anyway…”
True! Because a normal person wouldn’t dedicate their life (and our tax dollars) to being so obsessed with the comings and goings of a marginalized group of people who are not a threat, have done nothing to her, and will forever be none of her business. A normal person would just piss, Nancy, not make it everyone else’s problem. The grift ends here.
Republican candidates Pamela Evette and Alan Wilson will head to a runoff, but have parroted the same party-line rhetoric. But they didn’t eat quite as many beans as Mace, which might have something to do with her loss.

Mace woke up every day choosing to terrorize trans people and align herself with fake cultural issues designed to appease Trump, who doesn’t even like her back. Anyway…Good riddance!
