Love was alive in Texas late last week when a woman was caught stealing a $3.99 bottle of wine from a Cedar Park gas station because she wanted to get arrested and see her boyfriend in jail.
Police found Alicia Walicke, 22, standing next to a Shell station and drinking from a bottle of Mad Dog 20/20 that she had just stolen from the store. Walicke told officers that she had taken the wine because her boyfriend had been arrested earlier that day and she wanted to be reunited with him.
From the warrant:
Walicke advised her boyfriend was arrested earlier that evening by Cedar Park Officers and it was her fault so she wanted to make things right and go to jail.
There have been no reports on whether or not Walicke saw her boyfriend after the inevitable arrest, but she sure does look happy in her mugshot.
