When Brexit blew up in everyone’s faces, David Cameron said he’d be resigning by October. Now that Home Secretary and Conservative Theresa May has clinched the Prime Minister vote, Cameron’s moved his resignation up to Wednesday. He’s so relieved that he hummed a little tune into the hot mic immediately after saying goodbye.
On Monday, Cameron made his announcement in front of Number 10 Downing Street, and he didn’t quite make it back inside the door before vocalizing how delighted he is to be leaving this whole big mess behind him:
There are tough times ahead for Britain as they deal with the repercussions of separating from the E.U., but as former Prime Minster David Cameron would say, “Do do dooo do dooooo!”
