After opening the BET Awards in iconic fashion on Sunday night, Beyoncé had to dip to London to prep for her international Formation tour. Tina Lawson said as much on stage while accepting her daughter’s award for Video of the Year, but not everyone believed her.
Beyoncé’s departure sparked the usual jokes. And it appears some people also dared to question Tina’s facts when the only fact is that Miss Tina reads everything. The woman with the best Instagram page in the world wrote a caption that’s over 400 words explaining why everyone needs to chill out about why Beyoncé didn’t stay for the entire awards show. “Hello guys first let me say I just got a wind of the mess that has festered since last night,” Tina writes. “The fact that I supposedly lied about my Daughters concert.”
Our mom further clarifies that she got the city and date mixed up and says a staff member told her Beyoncé “had to get back in time for her concert and that she actually should have been there 2 days before.” Miss Tina, who doesn’t need to explain herself at all but must Stan for her daughter’s work ethic, goes on:
