DOJ Drops Millions of Epstein Files, Then Briefly Pulls 1 Listing Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Trump

On Friday, the Justice Department released another three million pages from the Epstein files, belatedly fulfilling its December 19 deadline to comply with the Epstein Transparency Act to release the documents in full.

One of the files contains a list of especially shocking and graphic sexual abuse allegations against Donald Trump, including claims involving minors. After independent media company MeidasTouch published screenshots of the listed allegations—formatted as individual “complaint summar[ies]”—the DOJ seemingly removed the file, only to reupload it again an hour later. The New Republic notes that the summaries originated from an FBI tip line

“I was 13 years old when Donald J Trump raped me. Ghislaine Maxwell was also present,” one summary reads.

The rest of the disturbing summary reads: “Donald Trump, the president, had parties at Maralago called “calendar girls” Jeffrey Epstein would bring them in and trump would auction them off. He measured the children’s vulva and vaginas by entering a finger and rated the children on tightness. The guests were elder men and included Elon Musk. Don jr. Trump, Ivanka Trump, and Eric Trump were there.” It also says, “We were taken in rooms, forced to give oral sex to Donald J Trump. Forced to allow them to penitrate us.”

As with much of the Epstein
It’s worth noting that the millions of files contain a mix of uncorroborated tips, uninvestigated allegations, and secondhand reports submitted to law enforcement and the FBI tip line.
One example of the secondhand reporting appears in an undated summary attributed to a self-described friend of an alleged victim. The summary reads that about 35 years ago in New Jersey, one girl was “approximately 13-14 years old” when she performed oral sex on Trump and bit him. “[She] was allegedly hit in the face after she laughed about biting President Trump.” The summary also claims she was abused by Epstein.

According to the New York Times, at least 3,200 of the newly released files mention Trump, who has found himself unable to escape his alleged ties to the disgraced financier and pedophile.

Another file describes an unnamed masseuse who said she “didn’t feel good” after being asked to massage Prince Andrew, believing she was expected to “do more.” “I saw Prince Andrew and Donald Trump,” the summary reads. “[Epstein] wanted me to give Prince Andrew a massage, but I didn’t feel good about that. I wonder if he was offering me to him to do more. Ghislaine was not involved in that.”

In another file, dated 2002, First Lady Melania Trump (then Melania Knauss) appears to gush to Maxwell via email. “Dear G! Howe are you? Nice story about JE in NY mag,” she wrote. “You look great in the picture.” After telling Maxwell to call her whenever she’s in New York, she signs off, “Love, Melania.”

The documents also highlight Epstein’s ties to other public figures and politicians who previously denounced him. In one of the documents, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick appeared to make plans to visit Epstein’s island in 2012—contradicting a previous claim he made on a podcast in October, when he said he cut ties with Epstein in 2005. In another, Musk also seemed to make holiday plans with Epstein, even though the Grok founder previously claimed that he had long refused to visit the island.

According to Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, who spoke to reporters on Friday as the documents were being uploaded, the release included 2,000 videos and 180,000 images. The White House “had nothing to do with this review,” Blanche said. “They had no oversight and they did not tell this department how to do our review and what to look for and what to redact or not redact.”

Attorney General Pam Bondi, who botched the files’ release from Day 1—and who spent Friday morning tweeting about arresting a journalist for covering a protest—was nowhere to be found.
