The Trumps are in Mar-a-Lago for, I assume, the golf season, and Sunday night they attended the resort’s annual New Year’s Eve party. I hope it was as fun as it looked.
CNN reports that Trump, who kicked off NYE by wishing his “friends, supporters, enemies, haters, and even the very dishonest Fake News Media” a happy New Year on Twitter, told the Mar-a-Lago party attendees that 2018 was going to be “very, very special,” probably because all the rich people who were in attendance will get very, very big tax breaks. He also shared some thoughts on his “pretty good enemies,” who may or may not include Kim Jong Un, but certainly include the people who release polls declaring former President Barack Obama is more admired than Trump.
“They’re some bad people,” he said. “Bad people. But that’s ok. Someday maybe they’ll love us. I don’t know.”
At least he’ll always have the unrequited love of his large failson.
