Lawrencia Bembenek, a former Playboy Club waitress convicted of killing her husband’s ex-wife in 1982, has died of liver failure at 52. Bembenek’s 1990 prison escape inspired the phrase, “Run Bambi Run.” She was recaptured and eventually released on probation.
