In December, upon Miller’s appointment as communications director, Delgado published a series of now-deleted tweets writing, “Congratulations to the baby-daddy on being name WH Comms Director!” In another tweet, she added, “The 2016 version of John Edwards,” a reference to the married vice presidential nominee who in 2010 admitted to fathering a child with another woman. Days after accepting the position, Miller abruptly turned down the post. “After spending this past week with my family… it is clear they need to be my top priority right now and this is not the right time to start a new job as demanding as White House communications director,” he said. “My wife and I are also excited about the arrival of our second daughter in January, and I need to put them in front of my career.”

The Post says that Delgado “changed her number and disappeared to Florida,” claims that Delgado refuted in a series of tweets responding to the article.

Miller, trying hard to sound like an upstanding guy despite plenty of evidence to the contrary, told Page Six that his wife accepts his new son with Delgado. “My wife and I, along with our two daughters, are excited to welcome William into the world and into our family, and we appreciate the well wishes we’ve received from so many,” he said.

Delgado disputes the Post’s tawdry characterization of a Las Vegas “love child,” adding that Miller and his wife were separated at the time they were dating, and in a now-deleted tweet wrote that Miller “did not/has not sent the child even a $1 or a single gift/item.” She also says she’ll be more thoroughly telling her side of the story to the Atlantic’s McKay Coppins.
