Let’s raise a glass for billionaire scion and horse girl Georgina Bloomberg, who won in the $10,000 Open Jumper 1.40 meter classes on Tuesday at the Hampton Classic Horse Show in Bridgehampton. A triumph!
“It’s always special to win at the Hampton Classic,” she said in a press release sent out by the organization. “It’s an amazing horse show so it’s nice to start it off on a good note and give me confidence for the rest of the week. It was a great course that really used the ring. This horse goes faster than anyone else without even trying, so my plan was to let her go and try to get a good ribbon.”
This is all gibberish to me, honestly, but mazel tov to Georgina for this athletic achievement—and for bringing home that much-needed bacon! Maybe she’ll donate it to equestrians in need.
