Over in Italy, Milan Fashion Week has kicked off, and today saw the fall 2014 collection from Gucci. Designer Frida Giannini’s vision? Retro. Go-go boots and chunky furs channel the swinging ’60s and hustling ’70s.

But also: Impossibly pretty polished coats. Blouses made less-prim because they’re done in leather. Skinny suits and ocelot prints. Groovy, baby.

Notable: No long gowns. Short skirts and dresses only.
