Helen Mirren has made your dreams come true, by confirming that she’ll appear in Fast 8, the next installment in the Fast and the Furious franchise. Sometimes nice things do happen!
This news comes via an interview with Elle. Mostly it was about Eye in the Sky, her latest release, but while wrapping up the conversation she explained that, “I want to be making film and theater, but film is particularly relevant. I like it to be serious. Of course, having said that I’m about to do Fast and Furious 8. But that’s for the fun of it.” What’s even the point of being in the film business if you can’t occasionally do a movie with Vin Diesel and the Rock for the fun of it?
