Last week Alison Michelle Ernst was arrested for chucking her shoe at Hillary Clinton who was speaking at a Las Vegas event (and who flawlessly made a quip and continued unfazed). Ernst has since been released and still may face charges, but in a really bizarre twist, news has surfaced that this isn’t exactly Ernst’s first foray into raving public disturbances.
Apparently, in August of 2012, a woman who identified herself as Alison Michelle Ernst was removed from a Colorado courtroom where Aurora theater shooting gunman James Eagan Holmes made an appearance. Ernst disrupted testimony to say she had evidence of Holmes’ innocence and claimed that Holmes was framed in a New World Order conspiracy.
This conspiracy involved the US Army, Aurora Police Chief, and a prominent entrepreneur (most likely Colorado billionaire Philip Anschutz) who she describes is “involved in with new world and a group of cabal evil worldwide crooks who want to control the world through false flag attacks akin to George Orwell 1984 [sic].”
Now we Coloradans are used to a good conspiracy theory or two—after all, Denver International Airport is supposed to be a phallic shrine and bunker for the New World Order. But particularly in light of the Aurora tragedy, Ernst takes this to the next level. A post on a blog from 2012 shows a restraining order filed by Ernst against Holmes to keep him from “entering” her mind:
James has taken over my life. I sleep, eat, and think James Holmes 24/7 and i seek a restraining order to have this james holmes mind manipulation to stop. I watched inception, so I’m fully aware of james holmes magical powers and also his neuo science studies which now james enters my head like dennis quaid in innerspace and he zooms to my heart and plays with it and forces me to care for him.
Ernst has yet to comment on her shoe assault on Hillary Clinton and whether or not it was at all related to exposing the Illuminati conspiracy. Either way, I hope this woman finds the help she very clearly needs, and I really hope the people running security for Clinton’s Las Vegas event figure out how to fucking keep unticketed and uncredentialed people out of events like that.
