Naomi Campbell, Helena Christensen, Eva Herzigova, Cindy Crawford, and Yasmin Le Bon star in — and actually play the band — in the video for Duran Duran’s new song, “Girl Panic!” The song is catchy, but the clip clocks in at nearly ten minutes thanks to long, interstitial scenes where Nick Rhodes, Simon Le Bon, Roger Taylor, and John Taylor — the band — interviews “the band.” In other scenes, Rhodes et. al. turn up as porters and room-service boys at the luxury hotel where “the band” is staying — and taking advantage of numerous willing, female groupies. It’s no “Freedom,” and sure it’s pretty self-referential, but it’s also fun.
