I Love These Fuckin' Pandas!!!

Please enjoy Meng Meng and Jia Jia frolicking in a light dusting of snow at the Siberian Tiger Park, where they currently live. They’re very cute, right? Look at how “happy” they are, rolling around, exposing their soft undercarriages and dirtying their fine, white fur. Nothing to see here, just some pandas being very cute and fun, pacing in circles, standing on logs only to fall down, marveling at the wonder of gravity, and also doing this.

Are these pandas actually happy? Is this behavior that of an animal pleased with its lot in life—or have they realized in this very moment that they live in a prison from which they’re unable to escape? Perhaps this is record of the very moment that Jia Jia and Meng Meng realized that their lives are not theirs and never have been. Even if what I’m witnessing is the first recorded panda nervous breakdown in history, I don’t care— I love these fuckin’ pandas!!!!
