Jacob Elordi Thought Sam Levinson Was Trying to Torture Him
Elordi described his time on season 3 of Euphoria as "six weeks of me just getting beat by a seven-foot guy.”

So nice of Jacob Elordi to return from his near-constant vacationing with Kendall Jenner, even if it’s just for a late night appearance. Nonetheless, it would seem that, after months of honeymooning with Kendall, riding high from his Oscar nomination, and joining the Academy, the actor is finally ready to mention the elephant in the room.
The elephant being whatever the hell that third season of Euphoria was.
Back in April, the show’s third and final season premiered to meh reviews, as the cast made little to no press appearances to promote it, leaving Dirtbag with the backbreaking work of filling in the blanks. The set amassed a fair share of hot gossip, especially surrounding creator Sam Levinson. So imagine my surprise when, after months of silence, Elordi is the one to finally give us a morsel of the truth. During Monday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, guest-hosted by his costar Colman Domingo, Elordi at long last spoke on Levinson’s name—better late than never, I guess.
“I think Sam brought me back to torture me,” Elordi told Domingo. And I just know that in that moment, he knew he said too much. “It was like, six weeks of me just getting beat by a seven-foot guy. I was just running the whole time.” I, too, believe the only reason for Euphoria season 3 was to torture me. That, or money laundering.
“I got locked in a coffin for two days straight with prosthetics and a fake tongue, and I couldn’t see out of my eyes,” he added. (This is still somehow the show about high schoolers by the way.) ”And then Sam put snakes into the coffin.” ICYMI, there is no shortage of reasons why Levinson doesn’t sit right with me, so this is just the final straw.
During the interview, Elordi also confirmed that the “foot injury” that forced him to quit his Cannes Film Festival judging duties was, in fact, real, even though it still sounds fake. But according to the actor, he “broke his heels.” Numerous paparazzi pics of him and Jenner hiking seem to suggest his heels were very much in working order, but okay.
“I jumped off something,” he said. What was the “something?” He can’t say.
Will this be the last thing we ever hear of Euphoria’s legacy? Perhaps we will just have to wait for the Netflix documentary to come out, wherein the cast finally tells all about why the third season was an OnlyFans-meets-drug-cartel heist rip-off, or why Zendaya won’t ever be seen in the same room with Sydney Sweeney ever again.
