Gina Rodriguez is having a banner day: Jane The Virgin was just renewed on the CW for a second season, AND she’s ready to dominate the Golden Globes, where she’s nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy Series.
Via the New York Post:
“When we were picking out my dress, my brother-in-law said to me, ‘You know what I love about this dress — I love that it’s like, I’m here, I belong here, and they’ll see me again,” says Rodriguez. “It’s not like, ‘Hey, everybody, here I am!’ Because it’s not [my one shot]. We can’t think that way — I refuse to let that be the truth.”
