It looks like Janeane Garofolo know who’s signing on to co-star — along with House’s Lisa Edelstein and Private Practice‘s Paul Adelstein — in Marti Noxon’s pilot The Girlfriend’s Guide to Divorce, and it’s pretty dammed brilliant casting.
From The Hollywood Reporter:
Garofalo will play Lyla, Vicki’s friend and a legendary entertainment lawyer who is a real shark but also fiercely maternal and involved with the people she loves.
It sounds like it could be a continuation of her character from Romy and Michele, and that’s the best news in the world. Please, please, pretty please let her character use cigarettes with fast-burning paper. PLEASE.
