After postponing her tour multiple times over the past year for unknown reasons, Janet Jackson is reportedly having a baby, which was probably the reason.
According to ET Online, a source confirmed Jackson, who’s 49, is expecting her first baby with her billionaire husband Wissam Al Mana, whom she secretly married in 2012. ET reports:
The baby news comes after the 49-year-old singer — who will turn 50 on May 16 — announced last month that she will be postponing her tour to start a family with husband Wissam Al Mana. “We’re in the second leg of the tour and there actually has been a sudden change,” Jackson explained in a video posted to Twitter on April 6. “I thought it was important that you be the first to know. My husband and I are planning our family, so I’m going to have to delay the tour.”
Well, we all guessed accurately that the tour postponements that forced me to refund my tickets to her concert in Brooklyn meant Janet was trying to get pregnant.
This is not only great news for Janet but also the Jackson legacy, which gets to live on through this little baby. Congrats.
