In the latest “WTF” video from Japan, we have this brightly-colored offering called “Cathy’s House.” The sketch comes from Vermilion Pleasure Night, a late-night variety show in Japan that often parodies TV shows just like SNL would stateside.
It’s not clear whether the sketch is parodying Barbie, housewives, reality television, America, or anything in between — but either way it’s quite enjoyable, don’t you think? I would love to bake cookies and dance with my girlfriends in their wacky, technicolored world.
