Jazz Zaddy Jeff Goldblum Is Planning His Debut Album
EntertainmentJazz Zaddy, or you might say Jazzaddy, Jeff Goldblum is ready to take the jazz community by storm.
Variety reports that Goldblum is recording his first jazz album after executives at the Decca Records label saw him playing jazz piano with singer Gregory Porter on The Graham Norton Show. There are no real details yet on what this presumedly magnificent album might entail (will it just be piano, or will he whip out a sax once in a while?), but Goldblum tells the magazine: “I’m so happy to be in cahoots with the wonderful people at Decca, one of the coolest and most prestigious labels of all time.”
Jazz piano has long been a passion for the actor; he’s reportedly played shows every week in Los Angeles since the 1990s. And considering Goldblum himself talks with an, er, um, *chuckles*, eeeeeeh, let’s say jazzy cadence, this newfound career makes perfect sense to me.
