Joanne Froggatt Accidentally Cracked a Sex Joke at Kate Middleton on a Downton Abbey Set Visit

Their royal visitor informed the pair that it felt strange being in the character’s bedroom, when Froggatt responded: “I said, ‘Yeah, not many people get to come in Lady Mary’s bedroom,’” she said. “And then I was like, ‘Oh my god. What have I just said?’” Kate doesn’t seem like the type to bat an eye at a double entendre, though. (Presumably she spends a fair bit of time around Harry, so….)

Also, Froggatt revealed that per her contract, she’s not allowed to get a tan as long as she’s on the show.
