On Monday evening, Vice President and my personal best friend and confidant Joe Biden married two White House employees at his residence.
BuzzFeed News reports that Director of Oval Office Operations Brian Mosteller and Joe Mahshie, a trip coordinator for Michelle Obama, were married at 4 p.m., in a ceremony attended exclusively by the grooms’ families.
Apparently, Biden received a temporary certification, which allowed him to officially perform the ceremony. This was his first wedding as officiant, and I am not holding it together.
