You might remember that Kylie and Kendall Jenner were selling shirts of their faces screen-printed onto photos of artists like Tupac and Biggie. And even though they removed them from their site (and apologized), that hasn’t stopped the photographer of the Tupac photo in question to sue the sisters.
TMZ reports that photographer Michael Miller has filed a lawsuit against the Jenners because he never gave them permission to use his pictures—and in his complaint, he specifically says he does not want to be associated with them. To be linked to the Jenners, particularly Kendall of Fyre Festival and Pepsi commercial fame, is “particularly problematic [for Miller] given that she was complicit in not one but two of the worst public relations disasters in recent memory,” according to Miller’s complaint.
The Notorious B.I.G. estate also threatened to sue Kendall and Kylie Jenner if they did not stop selling the shirts. “The disrespect of these girls to not even reach out to me or anyone connected to the estate baffles me,” wrote Biggie Smalls’s mother, Voletta Wallace, on Instagram. “This is disrespectful, disgusting, and exploitation at its worst!!!”
