Lady Gaga Turns To BeDazzler For Solace In Epic 'Marry The Night' Mini Movie

Latest

Lady Gaga has a reputation to uphold, so when she releases a self-directed 14-minute autobiographical video she really has to bring the crazy. “Marry The Night” doesn’t disappoint! The part where she’s actually singing in the end is a bit of a let down (cutting between a dance class and writhing on top of a burning Trans Am is so cliché), but before that we have Gaga jabbering in French in a mental institution, pondering ways to make hairnets more fashionable, angrily dousing herself in Cheerios while nude, and explaining how her BeDazzler got her through a rough patch.

In an interview Gaga explains that the video is based on the day she was dropped from her original record label, and parts of it are intentionally ridiculous. Like, maybe all of it. As she declares in the video, “It’s not that I’ve been dishonest. It’s just that I loathe reality.”
