Lauren Sánchez Bezos Thought Her Inauguration Look Was ‘Conservative’

“I was super proud of myself,” she told the New York Times, for pairing a white lace bra with a white suit.

Lauren Sánchez Bezos Thought Her Inauguration Look Was ‘Conservative’

It’s been a while since we checked in on Ms. Lauren Sánchez Bezos, whose lavish nuptials to Jeff Bezos nearly shut down Venice for a weekend in June. According to a new profile from the New York Times over the weekend, the Bezoses have been enjoying married life—playing pickleball (gross), “listing 10 things they’re grateful for” (gag), and spending time at their $230 million estate on Indian Creek, aka “Billionaire Bunker,” an exclusive private island in Miami (revolting!). 

Sánchez Bezos has also since dabbled in the political sphere alongside her husband, like attending Trump’s inauguration in January, where many were clutching their Republican pearls over her outfit—a white Alexander McQueen pantsuit paired with a lace bra underneath. 

“I was super proud of myself,” she told the NYT, for putting together what she thought was a conservative outfit—which is hilarious. She’s married to a tech fascist, so I don’t like her, but pairing a blazer with a lace bra and calling it conservative is inspiring! What makes it even funnier is that she and Bezos were seated directly behind the president, so she was in full view for the entire duration of the ceremony. 

“Have some dignity and some respect for your setting in your circumstances,” said Megyn Kelly, who compared her to a hooker, “No one should be talking about your tits. Sorry.” Though Bethenny Frankel came to her defense at the time, declaring, “Why can’t Lauren Sánchez show a little cleavage at the inauguration? What does it matter? Who cares? She went to an event. She has boobs.” 

“I get it,” Sánchez Bezos told NYT. “No lace at the White House. Noted.”

So, was the outfit appropriate for sitting front row at the Presidential Inauguration? Listen, I’m not the cops. But it certainly did catch Zuck’s attention.

And if this was Lauren going conservative, imagine what she would have thought of Melania’s outfit, which covered everything, including her eyes!

In other, even grosser news, Sánchez Bezos also told the NYT that she “would have a baby tomorrow,” with Bezos. She’s not pregnant; she just loves babies, which is probably why she married a giant one!
