Liam Neeson's Selfless Act Changed Lives Thursday Night

CelebritiesDirt Bag

Actor, humanitarian, father, zaddy, and friend Liam Neeson did a very good thing on Thursday night, and I hope you’re all as inspired by his act of kindness as I am.

Per Page Six, the star of this year’s The Commuter (which I saw in un-synced 4DX and received a full refund for) was at a performance of The Iceman Cometh Thursday night when he realized his extreme height would be frustrating to those seated behind him. (Like myself, Neeson is 6’4″, so I relate to this particular anxiety.) So what did Mr. Taken do?

We hear that when 6-foot-4 Neeson took his plum seat at the front of the house, “he felt badly blocking the view of some people behind him, so he swapped his seat for one toward the back.”

If I had seen this go down with my own two eyes, I would have given Neeson a polite nod. “Good on you,” I’d communicate nonverbally.

“Oh, you know, I’m just doing my part,” he’d respond with his eyes.

More inspiring news for this dreary Friday: Selma Blair is celebrating two years of sobriety! In an Instagram post, she shared a photo of herself eating a delicious-looking cake alongside the caption:

2 years sober. 2 years feeling everything and nothing. 2 years of extreme gratitude and humility and grace. I thank the lord and my friends. Thank you for the most special birthday week @fran.anania #amypines #arthursaintbleick . I prayed for a miracle at my lowest points. I am a living miracle. Thank you. Thank you. #birthdaygirl#almost46 #summersolstice #grace

A warm, loving, and guttural “yassssss mama” to her!

“Outlived you too, bish,” she’s presumed (by me) to have said.
