According to a surprisingly detailed story at Page Six, Madonna’s children want little to do with their “controlling” mom. The Madonna-Guy Ritchie-Rocco saga has been ongoing and, according to unnamed sources, the recent custody disputes and Rocco’s refusal to spend time with his mother, are the result of her “micromanag[ing] his life.”
“When he’s in England, [Rocco] gets to live a low-key life . . . He can go about his business and talk to girls without paparazzi stalking him, as Guy has carved out a pretty private existence for his family. He finds making friendships in New York much more difficult. Over here, everyone [is] trying to score an invitation over to Madonna’s house.”
Rocco also seems to prefer his dad’s laid-back parenting style, a far cry from Madonna’s “hard-core macrobiotic diet,” one she makes all of her children follow.
