Marc Jacobs' Abs Are the New Creative Director for Diet Coke

Marc Jacobs, his pecs and his abs are now the creative director for Diet Coke. This means he designed “whimsical, feminine” packaging for the brand, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary in Europe.
The first cans and bottles are slated to arrive next month in 11 European markets including the U.K., France, Benelux and Iceland. Jacobs had a hand in three cans, three bottles and three ad campaigns, each corresponding to a recent decade in fashion.
MJ tweaked the logo; expect the cans to be colorful and fun. And possibly collectible? The ad for the collabo — seen above — is a twist on the “Diet Coke hunk” commercials. Same song. Shirtlessness. As you may recall, Taylor Swift has also inked a deal with Diet Coke; now she’s being criticized for making kids fat. [WWD, The Cut]
