My Investigation Into WTF Happened On That JoJo Siwa Cruise
Thanks to boots-on-the-ground journalists (aka TikTokers), we are following the trail of exactly what went down on the $1,100 JoJo Siwa Cruise.

In December, former Dance Moms daughter and sparkly hair bow tycoon JoJo Siwa announced a 3-day “fan adventure” aboard Royal Caribbean’s Utopia of the Seas. As of Monday, JoJo Cruise has returned to port—allegedly free of Hantavirus—but not free of burning questions from the people. i.e., me. And because I know no peace, I must get to the bottom of it. So, all aboard my personal mission to discover what in God’s name happened at JoJo Cruise 2026.
In her original December announcement, Siwa invited her most dedicated Siwanatorz to purchase their tickets for the cruise, starting around $1,100, where they could “enjoy meet and greets, Q&As, dance parties, build-a-bow fun, a dance class with JoJo, and for the first time ever, see the Infinity Heart Concert at sea.” (Though this price doesn’t include add-ons like splurging for a room with a balcony or having an intimate hibachi dinner with JoJo and co.) But kids grow up, and they stop wearing bows. JoJo, who is now experimenting with going by “Joelle,” is now 23. So, who exactly is the audience for this $1,100 Caribbean cruise?

In 2024, Siwa attempted a Miley Cyrus-esque rebrand with the song “Karma,” opening up about her first maybe-toxic relationship with a woman. In 2025, Siwa ditched the lesbian label and began dating her costar on Celebrity Big Brother UK, Chris Hughes, despite still being in a relationship with her girlfriend at the time filming began. (Siwa now identifies as queer). After those big swings, no one was sure which fans remained or how many there were, but something told me they were no longer 10-year-olds. As the weekend at sea commenced and the boots-on-the-ground journalism began rolling in (aka TikToks), I think we found our answer…Adult women!
And contrary to popular belief, the entire 5,000-person ship was not filled to the brim with JoJo fans. According to our reporters in the field (again, TikToks), the ship is mainly inhabited by non-Siwanatorz, who were shocked to find they had accidentally booked their relaxing Caribbean getaway for the same time as JoJo Cruise. From what I can gather, this was a pretty low-attendance fan adventure. The actual number of cruisers attending for Siwa was more so in the tens, but that would be a plus for fans looking to get to know her on a personal level. After Siwa greeted guests on Day 1 for the meet-and-greet and Goodie bag drop-off, the Welcome Party commenced, but appeared to be no more than 20 people, and mostly adult women, as aforementioned. Siwa did confirm that the youngest participant was “12 months old” (Also known as 1 year).

As the boat made its stops during the day, JoJo Cruise activities commenced at night, and at many, many points in the weekend, Siwa performed her iconic dance break from “Karma.” Day 2 included Siwa’s “first time at sea” performance of the Infinity Tour set list, which appeared to be pretty bare-bones, but still with just as much sparkle and interesting choreography. I don’t know what I was expecting, but it wasn’t this.

“We just got back from the JoJo Siwa concert, and I’m not kidding when I say…the best night of my life,” one Siwanator said in a TikTok. “You literally cannot get better than a JoJo Siwa concert,” her friend added.

The “Sparkle Party” followed after the concert, where Siwa danced with fans, backup dancers, and an older man I can only assume is her personal bodyguard.

Can confirm that delving deeper down the rabbit hole of JoJo Cruise has only left me more confused and intrigued by the mysticism of Ms. Siwa. I hope everyone who attended had an amazing time, worth every bit of the thousands of dollars they spent. #JoJoCruise2027.
