French actress and rumored paramour of one Brad Pitt Marion Cotillard has finally broken her silence on the divorce of the century.
In an Instagram post Wednesday night, Cotillard addressed the various rumors that have been swirling around like so many leaves in the wind about whether or not she had anything to do with Pitt and Jolie getting a divorce.
“This is going to be my first and only reaction to the whirlwind news that broke 24 hours ago and that I was swept up into,” she wrote under a picture of a bird in flight against a weird speckled sky. “I am not used to commenting on things like this nor taking them seriously but as this situation is spiraling and affecting people I love, I have to speak up.”
Cotillard went on to say that she is still very much in love with her husband, Guillaume Canet and that they’re expecting a second child. “To those who have indicated that I am devastated, I am very well thank you,” she wrote. Nice, Marion. She wished Angie and Brad the best of luck during this “tumultuous time” and then rewrote the entire note in French, like you do.
Okay. Cross that off the list, folks. Marion Cotillard is not the problem.
