“Cadillac,” a song on the soundtrack for Netflix’s ’70s hip-hop drama The Get Down, is yet further proof of the effortless sex appeal Miguel brings to almost everything. He could do a song about the powerful seduction of a table and call it “Table” (as Jezebel’s Bobby Finger suggested in our chat room) and it would feel good.
Besides this being a song where Miguel again brags about his christly sexual magic (“Yes I got what you need, turn that water into wine,” he sings), it also has the wonderful bounce of a roller skating jam. Naturally, the latter part transitions into blissful horniness and very chill vibes.
