Millie Bobby Brown & Jake Bongiovi Barely Share 1st Photo of Baby Girl

Over the weekend, Millie Bobby Brown and husband Jake Bongiovi (kind of) shared the first photo of their newly adopted baby girl. In classic Gen-Z style, the photo in question was buried in a photo dump that also included some mirror selfies, a sunset, and a close-up picture of a pig. But eager fans quickly picked out photo #4: a candid of Bongiovi holding their as-of-yet-unnamed daughter in her car seat while on their way to a private jet (classic). All of this was captioned with just three emojis: “🍼✨🐥”

After first getting together in 2021, Brown and Bongiovi tied the knot in May 2024. The couple then quickly purchased a farm in rural Georgia, where they now live alongside their 62 pets (including the aforementioned pig) and, as of this summer, their newly adopted baby girl. A lot of the internet side-eyed Brown’s decision to marry so young,  but I can see how, if you were on a show so popular that full-grown adults dressed as your 12-year-old self for Halloween, by 21, you might want to recreate Noah’s Ark in the woods.

The same people who questioned their early-marriage-to-farm pipeline have also been weird about their decision to adopt a baby girl. There were well-wishers, skeptics, and “expert” predictions in The Daily Mail that the news would be the harbinger of a new Gen-Z and Millennial adoption trend. There was…whatever the hell this is.

“This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” the couple wrote on a shared Instagram in August. (With the comments turned off.) “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy. And then there were three.” (And lots and lots of discourse.)

Since the news broke, Brown and Bongiovi have kept mainly to themselves (another benefit of being rich and living on a giant farm). Shortly after the announcement, the couple was spotted out and about in the Hamptons doing parent things, with Brown wearing a fresh pink sweatshirt emblazoned with the word “MOTHER,” but this weekend’s post was the first from Brown since she shared her adoption news.

In those photos, fans were also quick to notice the initials “RWB” on Brown’s phone case— which led to speculation that their baby’s name begins with an “R.” But I guess we’ll save that tidbit for the next photo dump.
