Nasim Pedrad is leaving SNL to play the female lead on John Mulaney’s unnamed autobiographical NBC comedy pilot. She’ll join Mulaney, Martin Short, and Elliott Gould, to play Jane, a “sweet, intelligent and lazy grade school teacher who doesn’t love her job and wants to make changes but she’s addicted to procrastinating.”
I guess that means no more Bedelia?
There are some other ladies to look forward to in the comedy pilot season, as well.
