Nicole Minetti, 2 Others Convicted For Casting ‘Bunga-Bunga’ Orgies

Latest

Talent scout Lele Mora, newsreader Emilo Fede and dental hygienist-turned-showgirl-turned-regional councellor Nicole Minetti were convicted of procuring prostitutes in a “vast pimping network” for former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi’s now-infamous “bunga-bunga” parties.

Each has been sentenced to seven years in prison and banned from public office.

Minetti, who did dental work on Berlusconi after he got punched in the face in 2009, was plucked out of the teeth game at 28 by the former Prime Minister to serve on his 2010 election campaign.

She was brought down by damaging testimony from Karima el-Mahroug, a then-17-year-old Moroccan nightclub dancer who says Minetti hooked up a paid “meeting” between her and Berlusconi. (She and Berlusconi both claim they didn’t have sex.)

Prosecutor Antonio Sangermano specified: “They carried out a sort of exam of the capacities of the young women and then injected them into the circuit of soirées.” There are also reports of Minetti herself dressing up as a nun and stripping for Berlusconi.
