From designers to actresses to celebrity stylists to the entire Missoni family, it seemed like everyone was wearing the label’s signature squiggly knits at the launch of its 400-piece Target collection.
Actress Camilla Belle, model Camila Alves, and Olsen sisters’ sister Elizabeth Olsen all wore looks from the Missoni for Target collection.
Meanwhile, Nina Garcia, Rachel Zoe, and Nora Zehetner all wore much more expensive Missoni pieces.
Emma Roberts’ cardigan is from the Target collection, Selita Ebanks’ dress is not, and Alessandra Ambrosio did a high/low thing pairing a fancy Missoni dress with a clutch from the Target line.
Just by looking at them, you can tell that Jennifer Missoni (left) is the flaky actress while her cousin Margherita Missoni is the family favorite. But grandma Rosita (far right) is a hotter ticket than all of them, with her sheer top showing off her bra.
Tennessee Thomas, drummer of the Like, looks like she’s straight-up out of a horror movie, with her virginal dress, dirty saddle shoes, and terrifying handbag. Shouldn’t she be jumping rope in someone’s nightmare singing “One, two, Freddie’s coming for you…”?
Someone should tell Kelly Bensimon that Target sells all kinds of pants, since she doesn’t seem to own any. Malin Ackerman looks sweet in her summery knit, but my Best Dressed goes to Marchesa designer Keren Craig who is totally ready for Night of 1000 Stevies.
Let me tell you about the weather in NYC yesterday. It was hot and pouring rain. Rachel Roy and Georgina Chapman are insane for wearing fur.
While I respect Michelle Trachtenberg’s dedication to her paleness, everything else about her look was kind of basic. And I guess Rachel Zoe isn’t styling Joy Bryant anymore? Nor is anyone else, I assume. And Kate Winslet did this sheer polka dot look much better back in March, because you couldn’t see her Spanx body suit beneath it.
