Does the world really need a book penned by Kate Middleton’s sister? If it was a guide to turning one’s ass into an international sensation through the (alleged) use of Spanx, we could see it, but there’s already a book about butts and Pippa Middleton wasn’t consulted.
Instead, Pippa is meeting with executives at HarperCollins and other publishing houses about a book on party hosting that would come out in December 2012. It does make a bit of sense, as she edits a blog associated with her parents party supply business. But of course, even though Pippa will probably collect at least $1.6 million dollars, she won’t be expected to write the thing herself. A source says:
“Pippa is very serious about the project and has been going to meet publishers personally. Pippa hasn’t signed a contract yet but I don’t think it will be far off. She is a good writer but I expect she would be offered the services of an experienced ghost writer.”
