In her slow attempt to capture fame from having actual talent versus creating a viral internet sensation, here is Rebecca Black singing Miley Cyrus’s submission for the battle of Song of the Summer. It is…fine?

For this cover, Black is sporting significantly less white bodysuit than we’ve come to expect from anything Smiley-related. She’s also joined by a man credited as Jon D; please read the blurb for the video on YouTube, where she says “you will love him i promise.”

As I’ve made it my life’s goal to never actually listen to “Friday,” Black’s cover of “We Can’t Stop” is the closest I’ve ever gotten to her (excluding headlines on the internet) so I can’t actually say if this is “good” or not.
