Roseanne Barr, comedy pioneer and Jezebel’s number one fan, reconnected with an old flame on Twitter last night. Sadly, it was not the romantic reunion that it could have been.
Things kicked off when Tom Arnold, who was married to Roseanne from 1990-1994 (and has married three times since then), tweeted a joke about donating some things — including old wedding tapes — to Goodwill.
A Twitter user then alerted Barr to Arnold’s plans, which caused her to worry that the tapes included footage of her. Next, she confronted him about it. On Twitter. For us all to see.
And so it began.
