Apparently, Sarah Michelle Gellar is a bit of a MacGyver! When it comes to tending to dog butts, anyway.
Gellar explained on Conan last night that the family recently brought home a Bernese Mountain Dog. Because you’re not supposed to fix female dogs until their first heat, Gellar was surprised to learn they get periods, too. Confronted with a bleeding dog and forced to improvise, she cobbled together diapers out of extra-large maxi pads and her husband Freddie Prinze Jr.’s underwear. So that’s what the stars of She’s All That and Buffy have been up to lately.
