The New York Post reports that, in a video leaked to the media on Saturday, De Niro expresses his hatred of the Republican presidential nominee, much like when he compared Trump to the mentally-ill character the actor played in Taxi Driver.

“He talks about how he’d like to punch people in the face,” De Niro says of Trump in the video. “Well, I’d like to punch him in the face.”

It would be so confusing if De Niro ever managed to punch Trump, whose face already resembles a tray of interlocking knuckles.
