Selena Gomez and Orlando Bloom May Have Gone Home Together and Katy Perry May Be Sad About It

Latest

Did Selena Gomez and Orlando Bloom go home together on Saturday night? Is Katy Perry upset about it? Do any of us actually care about this melatonin-laced love triangle? I’m going to answer all those questions with a shrug, because this particular cheating “scandal” isn’t really doing it for me. Though, to be fair, it must be doing something—otherwise why would I be typing all this out?

But enough of my own introspection. Let’s take a look at this video uploaded by TMZ of Selena Gomez and Orlando Bloom (or two people who wore the same outfits Selena Gomez and Orlando Bloom on Saturday) exiting a Las Vegas nightclub and entering a large SUV together.

Not much to see here, right? Just a couple of friends getting in their chauffeured black car after a night at the club. I’ve never been in that scenario, but I can imagine being in that scenario, and it doesn’t necessarily involve going back to the hotel and having sex. TMZ’s sources say Gomez is “adamant there were other people in the car with them” and that “they all made a late night fast food run together.”

Fine. I’ll believe that.

But does Katy? Check out her tweet from early this morning.

After posting “Is that all there is?” alongside audio of a song I’m most familiar as the one Nathan Lane sings in the opening of that wonderful Sex and the City episode from Season 5, “I Love a Charade,” I’m starting to think Perry is upset about the sudden end of something. Perhaps her relationship with Orlando Bloom? Or maybe this is about her recording career.

Make a guess while this whole debacle is still top of mind, because we’ll all have forgotten about this entire story by July.
