Soldier Watches Son's Birth Via Skype

Latest

Cody Huckeba, who’s in the U.S. Army, was stationed in North Carolina when his wife Sasha Huckeba went into labor in Oregon, but he still got to watch her give birth thanks to Skype. Hospital staff used a small camera to stream the birth of their son Dimitri, allowing Sasha and Cody to see and talk to each other throughout the delivery. About 36 hours later, Cody was able to leave Fort Bragg to join Sasha in the hospital and see their son for the first time without pixelation.
