On Thursday morning, Uzo Aduba of Orange Is the New Black helped announce the 2015 Emmy Award nominations, while learning that she’d been nominated herself.
Other nominations of note: Viola Davis, Taraji P. Henson and Tatiana Maslany were all nominated in the category of Best Actress in a Drama series, while Amy Schumer was added this year to Best Actress in a Comedy Series for her show Inside Amy Schumer.
In the men’s categories, Anthony Anderson got a nod for Blackish, as did Will Forte, Last Man on Earth and Jeffrey Tambor for Transparent.
Game of Thrones was ahead of the pack with 24 nominations, while American Horror Story: Freak Show followed behind with 19. Newcomer Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt also scored a number of nominations,
