Taylor Swift Is a Very Happy Fiancé
If your fairytale came true, wouldn’t you rub it in a little?

On Thursday night, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce made a rare public appearance together at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, of all places. And thank God, because the folks behind the simulation know that if we don’t get our weekly dose of Taylor and Travis, the fabric of space-time will start to rip at the seams. Swift won seven of her nine nominations for The Life of a Showgirl and made sure to remind everyone just how much she loves her fiancé.
“I think that this album probably also feels very happy and confident and free because that’s the way that I get to feel every single day of my life, because of my fiancé,” she said. If your fairytale came true, wouldn’t you rub it in a little? And if she’s getting up on stage every five minutes to accept yet another award, she’s probably contractually obligated to mention Kelce, or the crowd might revolt.
“So, thanks for all the vibes,” she said to Kelce.
About the album, she said, “Life of a Showgirl was really inspired by the energy I felt looking into crowds, seeing you, and connecting with you every single night.” Right… Wood was about the fans? I’m not sure…
Swift also picked up Album of the Year, Pop Song of the Year, and Artist of the Year, along with a sweep of the fan-voted categories—Best Lyrics, Best Music Video, and Favorite Tour Style. They’re just making these awards up at this point, and I really thought we’d hit the ceiling on fake awards, but here we are.
In her Artist of the Year acceptance speech, she added, “I’m a firm believer that anything you feed your mind, it will internalize. Anything you feed the internet, it will attempt to kill.” True, and anything she feeds to us about Travis, we will devour like starving piranhas. Anywho…
