The Trailer For Goldie Hawn and Amy Schumer's Mother-Daughter Comedy Snatched Is Here and It Will Probably Be Fine

Entertainment

One of the biggest problems with the trailer for Snatched, the upcoming comedy starring Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn (whose last movie was 2002’s The Banger Sisters) as a mother and daughter who get “snatched” while on vacation in South America, is that it doesn’t explain why they were snatched.

Are they being trafficked? Blackmailed? Held for ransom? Were they mistaken for another kooky American mother-daughter duo who were somehow connected to an underground crime syndicate? This is a movie about being snatched and we have no explanation for the snatching!

Another problem with the trailer for Snatched is that it ends with a joke about Amy Schumer being too “puffy” to be sold into sex slavery.

Oh well. Opening this movie on Mother’s Day weekend (a hot new release date) is a very smart move, you will probably see it with your mom, and Snatched will probably fine.
