- Oh, dear. Bristol Palin has reportedly called off her engagement to Levi Johnston:
Surprisingly enough, the break-up wasn’t instigated by recent rumors that Johnston is the father of another woman’s child: Palin was reportedly upset with him over statements made by another one of his ex-girlfriends, Briana Plum: “There was an interview with her and Bristol wasn’t happy about some of the things said,” says a source, “There was also some picture on Facebook of him and Briana and Bristol just said, ‘Let’s hold off on the engagement.'” [E!]
- A cinematographer who worked on Casey Affleck’s upcoming Joaquin Phoenix documentary has become the second woman to sue the actor/director for sexual harassment: Magdalena Gorka is suing Affleck for $2.25 million, and her lawsuit claims that “during the middle of the night, (Gorka) awoke to find Affleck lying in the bed next to her. Unbeknownst to (Gorka), Affleck had entered the bedroom while she was asleep and crawled into the bed. When she woke up, Affleck was curled up next to her in the bed wearing only his underwear and a t-shirt. He had his arm around her, was caressing her back, his face was within inches of hers and his breath reeked of alcohol.” Affleck was also sued earlier this month by a female producer from the film, who also claims that Affleck sexually harassed her. - Nicole Kidman recently visited Haiti as a UNIFEM ambassador and says the country needs to do more to protect women: “During this trip I saw first-hand how this humanitarian disaster is impacting women and girls. The lack of shelter and security makes them more vulnerable to violence, in particular sexual violence. Yet, I have also seen the determination and resilience of women and men in Haiti to rebuild their country. Today I visited a temporary shelter for women and girls who experienced sexual violence or are at risk, where women leaders work to make sure there are medical and legal services as well as counselling and livelihood training. This needs to be done on a large scale and they need our support.” [ContactMusic]
- Jeremy London has been sending text messages from Celebrity Rehab, which he claims he’s only going through for the money: “I’m doing it for $$ and clearing my name. I hope he dies.” [RadarOnline]

Your senses are on a creative high and then the part where everyone gets to see it and comment on it, that’s the part I think you battle with until you die. It’s absolutely terrifying.” [DigitalSpy]
