TMZ is reporting that Grammy-winning artist and TV star Toni Braxton is currently in “serious condition” at an Atlanta hospital due to complications “stemming from her battle with lupus.” She was reportedly checked in four days ago, but whether she did so herself or was admitted by EMTs has yet to be confirmed.
Fortunately, Braxton isn’t alone, as her boyfriend Birdman “hopped on a jet from Texas” to Atlanta as soon as he got the news.
This isn’t the first time Braxton’s battle with Lupus has sent her to the hospital. In December of 2012, she spent a week being treated for blood clots stemming from the disease. She first revealed her diagnosis in 2010.
